These church records for the Old Mill Creek Baptist Church begin in 1801 and continue through 1836. There are single documents for 1840, 1852(?), 1872-1873, 1893, and one undated document. This undated document concerns slanderous comments made by a Mr. Hendricks about John Conner. There is also one modern newspaper article, dated 1973, included in the group. It concerns Leesburg, Kentucky churches.

According to the article included with the collection, the Old Mill Baptist Church was built by the "Old School Baptists" in 1810. A John Connor was the Church's first preacher. Additionally, the article states that the church was "torn down in 1865, and has not been rebuilt." The 1872-1873 document seems to indicate that a congregation,of that name still met in a church somewhere.
